Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the James Buchanan Rockets (Mercersburg, PA) and the visiting Waynesboro Indians (Waynesboro, PA), saw James Buchanan's baseball squad knock off Waynesboro by a count of 6-1.

Coming up next, the Rockets play the Biglerville Canners (Biglerville, PA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 12. James Buchanan will attempt to move on its 7-12 season record. The Canners enter the battle with a 5-14 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Camp Hill (Camp Hill, PA).
