The Lisbon Central Golden Knights crushed the host Morristown Central Rockets baseball team by a count of 14-1 in Thursday's league bout.
The Golden Knights now possess a 10-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harrisville for a Section 10 West bout on Friday, May 12. Lisbon Central will face a Pirates team coming off a 18-2 league win over Edwards-Knox (Russell, NY). The Pirates record now stands at 6-1.
Next, the Rockets face the Hermon-DeKalb Central Demons (DeKalb Junction, NY) in a Section 10 West bout, on Monday, May 15. Morristown Central will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Demons enter the bout with a 2-5 record after their 24-8 league loss to Heuvelton Central (Heuvelton, NY).
