New York High School Baseball - Middletown loses to Valley Central

The Valley Central Vikings the host Middletown Middie Bears baseball team by a count of 8-5 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they host Washingtonville for a Section 9 Orange County II bout on Monday, May 15. Valley Central will face a Wizards team coming off a 2-1 league win over Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY). The Wizards record now stands at 4-13.

Next, the Middie Bears face the Goshen Central Gladiators (Goshen, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, May 12. Middletown will attempt to move on its 3-13 season record. The Gladiators enter the bout with a 6-9 record after their 11-5 league loss to Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY).
