Rhode Island High School Volleyball - Mount St. Charles Academy over Bishop Hendricken

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI) and the host Bishop Hendricken Hawks (Warwick, RI), saw Mount St. Charles Academy's volleyball squad beat Bishop Hendricken by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Mount St. Charles Academy upgrades its record to 9-3 on the year. The Mounties travel to North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI) to play the Skippers in a Division 1 (State) bout on Monday, May 15. The Skippers go into the bout with a record of 17-2. North Kingstown won 3-1 in their recent league bout against La Salle Academy (Providence, RI)

The Hawks now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Chariho for a Division 1 (State) bout on Monday, May 15. Bishop Hendricken will play a Chargers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI). The Chargers record now stands at 10-4.
