The Conant Cougars topped the visiting Palatine Pirates volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Cougars now have a 24-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elk Grove for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 16. Conant will confront a Grenadiers team coming off a 2-0 league win over Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL). The Grenadiers record now stands at 13-20.

The Pirates (14-14) will now prepare for their test against Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL). The Spartans enter the non-league test with a 22-7 record. In their last test, Marian Catholic gained a win over Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
