Payton College Prep Grizzlies (Chicago, IL) boosters exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Northside Mustangs (Chicago, IL), 16-8 in a non-league battle.

The Grizzlies now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lane Tech for a Chicago Public battle on Monday, May 15. Payton College Prep will clash with a Lane Tech squad coming off a 15-4 non-league win over Kenwood (Chicago, IL). The Lane Tech record now stands at 13-4.

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Regina Dominican Panthers (Wilmette, IL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 12. Northside will attempt to advance on its 9-7 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 1-11 record after their 20-5 non-league loss to Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL).
