The Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) soccer nudged the host Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA), 2-1 in Thursday's league bout.

The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 1-11. Goochland lost 6-1 in their recent league bout against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA)

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) in a Jefferson bout, on Monday, May 15. Monticello will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 14-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA).
