In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Orange County Fighting Hornets softball team scored a nice 14-2 win over the Monticello Mustangs.
Coming up next, the Fighting Hornets encounter the Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, May 16. Orange County will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record.
The Mustangs (6-10) will now prepare for their outing against Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA). The Blue Streaks enter the non-league outing with a 1-12 record. In their last outing, Harrisonburg was routed by Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA), 14-0, in a non-league outing.
