Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI) boosters exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI), 7-3 in a league battle.

The Clippers now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they host Cranston West for a non-league battle on Monday, May 15. Cumberland will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 12-7 league win over Coventry (Coventry, RI). The Falcons record now stands at 2-10.

In their next game, the Crusaders clash with the Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI) in a Division 2 battle, on Monday, May 15. Prout will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record. The Patriots come into the battle with a 10-3 record after their 20-12 league win over South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI).
