Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Mount de Sales Academy Sailors (Catonsville, MD), 13-1 in a league challenge.
The Cavaliers now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host John Carroll for a IAAM challenge on Tuesday, May 16. Archbishop Spalding will battle a Patriots squad coming off a 6-5 league win over Catholic (Baltimore, MD). The Patriots record now stands at 12-2.
With the loss, Mount de Sales Academy falls to 4-9 on the campaign.
