Bremerton Knights (Bremerton, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Bainbridge Spartans (Bainbridge Island, WA), 18-7 in a league challenge.

The Knights now own a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they host Kingston for a 2A Olympic challenge on Friday, May 12. Bremerton will face a Buccaneers squad coming off a 13-3 league win over North Mason (Belfair, WA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 5-9.

With the loss, Bainbridge falls to 1-13 on the campaign. The Spartans host Olympic (Bremerton, WA) to face the Trojans in a 2A Olympic challenge on Friday, May 12. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 7-5. Olympic won 4-3 in their recent league challenge against Sequim (Sequim, WA)
