In Thursday's league contest, the North Rose-Wolcott Cougars (Wolcott, NY) softball team held off the visiting Clyde-Savannah Golden Eagles (Clyde, NY), by a margin of 11-10.

With the triumph, North Rose-Wolcott moves its record to 10-4 on the year. The Cougars travel to Lyons (Lyons, NY) to play the Lions in a Wayne County contest on Monday, May 15. The Lions come into the contest with a record of 7-10. Lyons won 6-5 in their recent non-league contest against Gananda Central (Walworth, NY)
