The Foran Lions routed the visiting Lyman Hall Trojans softball squad by a count of 11-6 in Thursday's league battle.
The Lions (10-7) will now prepare for their bout against Wilbur Cross (New Haven, CT). The Governors go into the Southern Connecticut - Oronoque bout with a 4-9 record.
The Trojans now possess a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to Branford for a non-league bout on Monday, May 15. Lyman Hall will confront a Hornets squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Stratford (Stratford, CT). The Hornets record now stands at 2-16.
