The Marion Scarlet Hurricanes (Marion, VA) softball the visiting Virginia High Bearcats (Bristol, VA), 5-2 in Thursday's league bout.
The Scarlet Hurricanes (11-7) will now prepare for their bout against Richlands (Richlands, VA). The Blue Tornado go into the Southwest bout with a 4-6 record. In their last bout, Richlands was routed by Tazewell (Tazewell, VA), 3-0, in a league bout.
