The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Seneca Indians (Seneca, WI) and the host Wauzeka-Steuben Hornets (Wauzeka, WI), saw Seneca's softball squad nip Wauzeka-Steuben by a count of 1-0.

The Indians now sport a 10-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ithaca for a Ridge & Valley match on Monday, May 15. Seneca will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Kickapoo (Viola, WI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-3.

With the loss, Wauzeka-Steuben falls to 11-4 on the campaign. The Hornets host Riverdale (Muscoda, WI) to face the Chieftains in a non-league match on Friday, May 12. The Chieftains enter the match with a record of 3-12. Riverdale lost 3-1 in their recent league match against Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI)
