West Seneca East Trojans (West Seneca, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Starpoint Spartans (Lockport, NY), 8-4 in a league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Williamsville East for a Section 6 Erie County II challenge on Friday, May 12. West Seneca East will battle a Flames squad coming off a 12-0 league win over Hamburg (Hamburg, NY). The Flames record now stands at 9-2.

With the loss, Starpoint falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Spartans host Hamburg (Hamburg, NY) to battle the Bulldogs in a Section 6 Erie County II challenge on Friday, May 12. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 3-12. Hamburg lost 12-0 in their recent league challenge against Williamsville East (East Amherst, NY)
