Spectators at Saturday's league battle between the South Anchorage Wolverines (Anchorage, AK) and the host Eagle River Wolves (Eagle River, AK), saw South Anchorage's baseball squad edge Eagle River by a count of 5-4.

Coming up next, the Wolverines play the Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds (Anchorage, AK) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 11. South Anchorage will attempt to move on its 16-2 season record. The Thunderbirds enter the battle with a 4-7 record after their 1-0 league loss to South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK).
