The Vergennes Commodores baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Enosburg Falls Hornets to 1 in the Commodores non-league victory on Saturday.
The Commodores (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Middlebury (Middlebury, VT). The Tigers go into the Metro match with a 2-7 record. In their last match, Middlebury was overwhelmed by Missisquoi Valley (Swanton, VT), 9-4, in a league match.
The Hornets (3-7) will now prepare for their match against Mt. Abraham (Bristol, VT). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Mt. Abraham tipped Milton (Milton, VT), 9-2, in a league match.
