With the win, Shelby Valley upgrades its record to 10-12 on the season. The Wildcats host Belfry (Belfry, KY) to battle the Pirates in a non-league test on Monday, May 13. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 18-11. Belfry lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Lawrence County (Louisa, KY)

With the defeat, Harlan County falls to 15-15 on the season. The Black bears host Letcher County Central (Whitesburg, KY) to battle the Cougars / Lady Cougars in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 14. The Cougars / Lady Cougars come into the test with a record of 11-7.
