Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Memorial Mustangs (Houston, TX) and the visiting Ridge Point Panthers (Missouri City, TX), saw Memorial's baseball squad edge Ridge Point by a count of 8-7.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Cinco Ranch Cougars (Katy, TX) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 18. Memorial will attempt to move on its 23-11 season record. The Cougars enter the battle with a 26-6 record after their 8-3 non-league win over Stratford (Houston, TX).
