The Evanston Wildkits held off the visiting Deerfield Warriors volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wildkits now have a 21-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palatine for a non-league test on Saturday, May 11. Evanston will confront a Pirates team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 16-14.
The Warriors (20-11) will now prepare for their test against St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL). The North Stars enter the non-league test with a 14-15 record. In their last test, St. Charles North held off Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
