Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Buena Chiefs (Buena, NJ) and the visiting Mainland Regional Mustangs (Linwood, NJ), witnessed Buena's softball squad tip Mainland Regional by a count of 4-3.

The Chiefs now sport a 13-5 record. They play next when they host Lower Cape May for a non-league match on Monday, May 13.

With the loss, Mainland Regional moves to 5-11 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Our Lady of Mercy Academy (Newfield, NJ) to face the Villagers in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 14. The Villagers go into the match with a record of 8-10. Our Lady of Mercy Academy lost 2-0 in their recent league match against Middle Township (Cape May Court House, NJ)
