The Three Lakes/Phelps softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Crandon Cardinals to 0 in the non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Three Lakes/Phelps improves its record to 8-5 on the year. The travel to Elcho (Elcho, WI) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 14. The Hornets come into the game with a record of 0-9.

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the Lakeland Thunderbirds (Minocqua, WI) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 13. Crandon will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the game with a 11-8 record after their 4-3 league loss to Mosinee (Mosinee, WI).
