In Saturday's league contest, the Crete-Monee Warriors (Crete, IL) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Rich Township Raptors (Olympia Fields, IL), by a margin of 13-3.

With the triumph, Crete-Monee moves its record to 10-12 on the year. The Warriors travel to Thornridge (Dolton, IL) to play the Falcons in a Southland Athletic contest on Monday, May 13. The Falcons come into the contest with a record of 0-15. Thornridge lost 17-1 in their recent league contest against Thornwood (South Holland, IL)

In their next game, the Raptors play the Chicago Washington Patriots (Chicago, IL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, May 14. Rich Township will attempt to move on its 10-16 season record. The Patriots come into the contest with a 15-4 record after their 16-1 non-league loss to De La Salle (Chicago, IL).
