The Ellsworth Eagles softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Presque Isle Wildcats to 2 in the Eagles league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Ellsworth moves its record to 7-2 on the year. The Eagles host Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) to play the Ponies in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 14. The Ponies come into the game with a record of 3-8. Foxcroft Academy lost 14-2 in their recent league game against Orono (Orono, ME)
In their next game, the Wildcats play the Fort Kent Warriors (Fort Kent, ME) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 16. Presque Isle will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record.
