The Western Hills Wolverines softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Floyd Central Jaguars to 0 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Western Hills moves its record to 17-11 on the year. The Wolverines host Collins (Shelbyville, KY) to clash with the Titans in a non-league game on Monday, May 13. The Titans come into the game with a record of 8-12.
In their next game, the Jaguars clash with the Prestonsburg Blackcats (Prestonsburg, KY) in a District 58 game, on Monday, May 13. Floyd Central will attempt to move on its 11-10 season record. The Blackcats come into the game with a 9-14 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Fairview (Ashland, KY).
