The Jacobs Golden Eagles softball team (Algonquin, IL), was routed 12-1 in Saturday's non-league test with the host Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL)
Coming up next, the Indians clash with the North Boone Vikings (Poplar Grove, IL) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 17. Marengo will attempt to improve on its 25-6 season record. The Vikings come into the test with a 24-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL).
The Golden Eagles (5-26) will now prepare for their test against Wauconda (Wauconda, IL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 17-9 record. In their last test, Wauconda overcame Antioch (Antioch, IL), 10-9, in a league test.
