Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers (Wheaton, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lake Park Lancers (Roselle, IL), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 17-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Batavia for a DuKane challenge on Monday, May 13. Wheaton-Warrenville South will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 16-4 non-league loss to Oswego (Oswego, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-20.

With the loss, Lake Park falls to 17-6 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL) to face the Falcons in a DuKane challenge on Friday, May 10. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 19-5. Wheaton North won 4-2 in their recent league challenge against Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL)
