In Saturday's league outing, the host Mt. Abraham Eagles softball team scored a close 4-3 win over the Milton Yellowjackets.
Coming up next, the Eagles battle the Enosburg Falls Hornets (Enosburg Falls, VT) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, May 14. Mt. Abraham will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Hornets enter the outing with a 7-1 record after their 20-0 non-league win over Vergennes (Vergennes, VT).
The Yellowjackets (6-1) will now prepare for their outing against Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT). The Green Knights enter the Metro outing with a 8-1 record. In their last outing, Rice Memorial was tipped by Middlebury (Middlebury, VT), 4-0, in a league outing.
