New York High School Softball - Oriskany gets by Westmoreland

The Oriskany Redskins got by the visiting Westmoreland Bulldogs softball squad by a final score of 7-6 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Redskins (12-2) will now prepare for their battle against Waterville (Waterville, NY). The Indians go into the Section 3 Center State III battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Waterville nudged Town of Webb (Old Forge, NY), 11-3, in a league battle.
The Bulldogs now possess a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Frankfort-Schuyler for a Section 3 Center State II battle on Monday, May 13. Westmoreland will meet a Maroon Knights squad coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Central Valley Academy (Ilion, NY). The Maroon Knights record now stands at 4-12.
