The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Reynolds Raiders (Greenville, PA) and the host Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley (Rimersburg, PA), saw Reynolds's softball squad nip Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley by a count of 9-8.

The Raiders now sport a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Middlesex for a District 10 Region 1 match on Monday, May 13. Reynolds will face a Big Reds squad coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to Mohawk Area (Bessemer, PA). The Big Reds record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The host Karns City (Karns City, PA) to face the Gremlins in a Keystone Shortway - South match on Monday, May 13. The Gremlins enter the match with a record of 6-1. Karns City won 4-1 in their recent non-league match against Redbank Valley (New Bethlehem, PA)
