In Sunday's league match, the visiting New Milford Green Wave softball team scored a tight 10-3 victory over the New Fairfield Rebels.

The Green Wave (10-4) will now prepare for their match against Pomperaug (Southbury, CT). The Panthers go into the Southwest - Colonial match with a 5-7 record. In their last match, Pomperaug was routed by Masuk (Monroe, CT), 12-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Rebels battle the Stratford Red Devils (Stratford, CT) in a Southwest - Colonial match, on Monday, May 12. New Fairfield will attempt to better on its 5-9 season record. The Red Devils go into the match with a 6-6 record after their 13-1 league win over Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT).
