New York High School Baseball - Maple Hill wallops Chatham

The Maple Hill Wildcats (Castleton on Hudson, NY) baseball trounced the visiting Chatham Panthers (Chatham, NY), 12-2 in Monday's league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 15-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coxsackie-Athens for a Section 2 Patroon challenge on Tuesday, May 12. Maple Hill will clash with a Riverhawks team coming off a 13-9 non-league win over Schuylerville (Schuylerville, NY). The Riverhawks record now stands at 12-6.

With the defeat, Chatham drops to 6-10 on the year. The Panthers travel to Watervliet (Watervliet, NY) to clash with the Cannoneers in a Section 2 Patroon challenge on Wednesday, May 13. The Cannoneers go into the challenge with a record of 6-11. Watervliet lost 5-4 in their recent league challenge against Rensselaer (Rensselaer, NY)
