The Poly Parrots softball team scored 16 runs and held the host Arleta Mustangs to 5 in the Parrots league win on Monday.

The Parrots now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kennedy for a battle on Wednesday, May 13. Poly will confront a Golden Cougars team coming off a 17-4 league win over Chavez (San Fernando, CA). The Golden Cougars record now stands at 15-9.

With the loss, Arleta moves to 6-10 on the season. The Mustangs travel to San Fernando (San Fernando, CA) to confront the Tigers in a battle on Wednesday, May 13. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 5-9. San Fernando won 14-3 in their recent league battle against Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA)
