New York High School Softball - Cornwall Central edges Valley Central

The Cornwall Central Dragons softball team scored 6 runs and held the host Valley Central Vikings to 4 in the Dragons non-league win on Monday.

The Dragons now possess a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warwick for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 13. Cornwall Central will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 13-5 non-league loss to Goshen Central (Goshen, NY). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Valley Central moves to 6-1 on the season. The Vikings host Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY) to confront the Warriors in a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 12. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 7-3. Minisink Valley won 7-0 in their recent non-league battle against Port Jervis (Port Jervis, NY)
