The Passaic Indians triumphed over the host Eastside Ghosts softball squad by a count of 14-3 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Indians meet the Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology Lions (Paterson, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, May 12. Passaic will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 19-3 league win over Manchester Regional (Haledon, NJ).

The Ghosts (0-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln (Jersey City, NJ). The Lions enter the non-league challenge with a 3-13 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln was routed by St. Dominic Academy (Jersey City, NJ), 18-8, in a league challenge.
