New Jersey High School Softball - Hackensack succumbs to Paramus

May 11, 2026: Hackensack, NJ 07601

In Monday's league test, the Paramus Spartans (Paramus, NJ) softball squad overwhelmed the host Hackensack Comets (Hackensack, NJ), by a tally of 16-3.

Next, the Spartans clash with the Pascack Valley Indians (Hillsdale, NJ) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, May 12. Paramus will attempt to advance on its 7-10 season record. The Indians go into the test with a 16-4 record after their 15-1 league win over Teaneck (Teaneck, NJ).

The Comets (8-14) will now prepare for their test against Garfield (Garfield, NJ). The Boilermakers go into the non-league test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, Garfield prevailed over Secaucus (Secaucus, NJ), 9-8, in a non-league test.
