The Saegertown Panthers (Saegertown, PA) softball routed the host Maplewood Tigers (Guys Mills, PA), 7-0 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Panthers (8-1) will now prepare for their bout against Eisenhower (Russell, PA). The Knights go into the District 10 Region 2 bout with a 0-6 record. In their last bout, Eisenhower was routed by Union City (Union City, PA), 17-0, in a league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Union City for a District 10 Region 2 bout on Thursday, May 13. Maplewood will confront a Bears squad coming off a 17-0 league win over Eisenhower (Russell, PA). The Bears record now stands at 13-0.
