In Thursday's non-league game, the host Cheney RVT Beavers baseball team scored a tight 16-10 victory over the Bolton Bulldogs.
The Beavers (7-9) will now prepare for their game against Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT). The Spartans go into the non-league game with a 8-6 record. In their last game, Shepaug Valley was overwhelmed by Bethel (Bethel, CT), 7-3, in a non-league game.
The Bulldogs (0-16) will now prepare for their game against Granby Memorial (Granby, CT). The Bears go into the North Central Connecticut game with a 6-8 record. In their last game, Granby Memorial tipped Suffield (West Suffield, CT), 7-4, in a league game.
