In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Logan County Cougars (Russellville, KY) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Butler County Bears (Morgantown, KY), by a final score of 12-2.

With the win, Logan County upgrades its record to 20-9 on the season. The Cougars travel to Barren County (Glasgow, KY) to battle the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 13. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 14-22. Barren County lost 14-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Pulaski County (Somerset, KY)

With the defeat, Butler County falls to 12-14 on the season. The Bears travel to Russellville (Russellville, KY) to battle the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 13. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 6-29. Russellville won 8-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Dawson Springs (Dawson Springs, KY)
