The Rangely Panthers crushed the host Grand Valley Cardinals baseball team by a tally of 20-4 in Thursday's league bout.

Next, the Cardinals face the Meeker Cowboys (Meeker, CO) in a 2A Western Slope bout, on Saturday, May 14. Grand Valley will attempt to advance on its 2-16 season record. The Cowboys enter the bout with a 7-11 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Moffat County (Craig, CO).
