The Marquette Crusaders baseball team scored 24 runs and limited the visiting Midland Timberwolves to 2 in the Crusaders league victory on Thursday.
The Crusaders (24-3) will now prepare for their match against Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL). The Mallards go into the Tri-County match with a 18-8 record. In their last match, Henry-Senachwine gained a win over Dwight (Dwight, IL), 18-8, in a league match.
The Timberwolves (8-18) will now prepare for their match against Blue Ridge (Farmer City, IL). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 3-17 record. In their last match, Blue Ridge gained a win over Arthur-Okaw Christian (Arthur, IL), 3-1, in a non-league match.
