East Providence Townies (East Providence, RI) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Westerly Bulldogs (Westerly, RI), 3-2 in a league match.

Next up, the Townies clash with the Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI) in a Division 2 match, on Monday, May 16. East Providence will attempt to advance on its 11-2 season record. The Mounties come into the match with a 12-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Tolman (Pawtucket, RI).

With the loss, Westerly drops to 9-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to West Warwick (West Warwick, RI) to clash with the Wizards in a Division 2 match on Monday, May 16. The Wizards come into the match with a record of 7-5. West Warwick won 3-2 in their recent league match against Tolman (Pawtucket, RI)
