Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Giles Spartans (Pearisburg, VA), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs confront the Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 16. Eastern Montgomery will attempt to better on its 14-0 season record. The Highlanders enter the challenge with a 12-3 record after their 5-2 league win over Radford (Radford, VA).

The Spartans now have a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they host Radford for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 13. Giles will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 5-2 league loss to Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Bobcats record now stands at 9-5.
