Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host East Providence Townies (East Providence, RI), 13-11 in a league battle.

The Thunderbolts now have a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tiverton for a Division 4 battle on Thursday, May 19.

In their next game, the Townies clash with the North Smithfield Northmen (North Smithfield, RI) in a Division 4 battle, on Tuesday, May 17. East Providence will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record. The Northmen come into the battle with a 10-2 record after their 16-0 league win over Classical (Providence, RI).
