The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Newton North Tigers (Newtonville, MA) and the visiting Wellesley Raiders (Wellesley, MA), saw Newton North's lacrosse team nudge Wellesley by a margin of 6-5.
The Tigers (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln-Sudbury (Sudbury, MA). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 10-2 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln-Sudbury edged Medfield (Medfield, MA), 10-5, in a non-league challenge.
The Raiders (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Falmouth (Falmouth, MA). The Clippers enter the non-league challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Falmouth held off Nantucket (Nantucket, MA), 7-6, in a league test.
