St. Anthony's Friars (Melville, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting St. Dominic Bayhawks (Oyster Bay, NY), 16-2 in a league battle.

The Friars now have a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chaminade for a Catholic - Island battle on Tuesday, May 17. St. Anthony's will clash with a Flyers squad coming off a 15-11 non-league win over Salesianum (Wilmington, DE). The Flyers record now stands at 12-4.

In their next game, the Bayhawks clash with the Kellenberg Memorial Firebirds (Uniondale, NY) in a Catholic - Island battle, on Friday, May 20. St. Dominic will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Firebirds come into the battle with a 6-7 record after their 16-7 league loss to Chaminade (Mineola, NY).
