Virginia High School Softball - Randolph-Henry bounces Cumberland

The Randolph-Henry Statesmen routed the host Cumberland Dukes softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Thursday's league battle.
The Statesmen (16-2) will now prepare for their battle against Nottoway (Nottoway, VA). The Cougars go into the James River battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Nottoway topped Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA), 16-15, in a league battle.
The Dukes now sport a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Bluestone for a James River battle on Tuesday, May 17. Cumberland will meet a Barons squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA). The Barons record now stands at 8-4.
