The Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) softball routed the host Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA), 12-6 in Thursday's league bout.

The Flying Flucos (12-7) will now prepare for their bout against Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA). The Blue Streaks go into the non-league bout with a 1-7 record.

The Warriors now possess a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Monticello for a Jefferson bout on Tuesday, May 17. Western Albemarle will confront a Mustangs squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Orange County (Orange, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-5.
