Hatton Hornets (Town Creek, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Lexington Golden Bears (Lexington, AL), 13-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Hornets now own a 38-20 record. They take the field next when they host Lamar County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 12. Hatton will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-5 non-league win over Sulligent (Sulligent, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-20.
With the loss, Lexington falls to 9-19 on the campaign. The Golden bears host Colbert County (Leighton, AL) to battle the Indians in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 12. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 8-21. Colbert County lost 6-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Red Bay (Red Bay, AL)
